Privacy Policy
Effective date:
This Privacy Policy explains how Reportago: Photo Reports for Android and reportago.com handle information. Reportago is published under the developer name Lingburg. For privacy questions and requests, contact lingburgtechnologies@gmail.com.
Reports and other information on your device
Reportago creates and edits reports locally on your Android device. Local content can include photos, captions, annotations, client and job details, addresses, company information, logos, templates, drawn signatures and saved PDF versions. No Reportago account is needed to create or edit reports.
We do not operate a cloud service that automatically uploads or synchronizes your report content. Report content is not included in our custom analytics events or diagnostic logs. A drawn signature is used as report content; we do not use it for biometric identification or to verify a person's identity.
Camera and file access
The app requests camera access when you choose to take photos. You can instead use selected existing photos. Android's photo and file pickers let you choose the images, backups and destinations the app may access. Camera access and file selection serve the actions you request.
The current app does not request device-location permission, read your contact book or collect an Android advertising ID. Addresses that you type into a report are local report content.
App usage and diagnostics
Production Android builds use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app use, identify failures and improve reliability. These services process technical information such as app and operating-system versions, device characteristics, app-instance and installation identifiers, sessions, screen visits, crash traces and diagnostic events. Analytics can derive an approximate region from masked IP information and record purchase-related events.
Our own usage events describe actions and counts, such as creating a report, generating a PDF and its page count. They do not include report titles, captions, client names, job addresses, photos or signatures. We do not set a named user profile for these services.
The current configuration disables advertising-ID collection and advertising storage, ad-personalization and ad-user-data signals. There are no third-party advertising placements in the app. Usage statistics may help us assess product adoption and campaign results without including report content.
Firebase services are provided by Google. More information is available in Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase's Privacy and Security information.
Purchases and subscriptions
If you use a purchase, subscription or restore feature, Google Play handles checkout and payment. RevenueCat processes purchase and entitlement information so the app can recognize access, restore purchases and manage subscriptions. This can include a pseudonymous customer identifier, product identifiers, purchase history, transaction or receipt information, subscription status, app and device metadata, language and currency.
The app uses RevenueCat's anonymous customer identity instead of requiring a Reportago account. It also supplies a Firebase app-instance identifier to RevenueCat to associate purchase activity with app analytics. That identifier is not a report, a client name or a job address. Purchase-management services may process the pseudonymous customer identity and technical app information when the app initializes or checks access, even if you have not made a purchase.
We do not receive your full payment-card details through Reportago. Google Play and RevenueCat have their own privacy information and may retain transaction records for their legal and operational obligations.
This website and support requests
The website is hosted using Lovable. Hosting and infrastructure providers can process standard request and operational information, including IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referrer, timestamps and technical error information, to deliver and secure the site and measure its operation.
We have not added Google Analytics, Meta advertising pixels, a mailing-list form or account registration to this website. Demonstration reports and signatures on the website contain fictional example details.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you include. We use it to respond, resolve the issue and handle your request. Do not send full reports, client information, payment-card details or other sensitive material unless it is necessary for the issue.
Why we use information and who receives it
We use information to provide the functions you request, recognize purchases, respond to support, maintain and improve the app and website, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Where applicable, the legal grounds are performance of a contract, legal obligations, and legitimate interests in reliable and secure services where those interests are permitted by law. Consent is a separate legal ground for activities that require it; this Policy is not itself a consent request.
Google/Firebase, RevenueCat and our website hosting providers receive the information needed for their respective services. Recipients you select receive your exports. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights. We do not sell personal information or provide report content to advertising services.
Providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Applicable provider agreements and legally required transfer safeguards govern their handling of information.
Retention and security
Local reports remain on your device until you delete them or the app's stored data. Reports moved to Trash remain recoverable until you permanently delete them. Reportago does not enable automatic Android cloud backup for its app data; use the app's export and restore functions for copies you want to keep.
We retain support correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to address the request, maintain relevant records and meet legal obligations. Analytics and purchase records follow configured service retention and deletion processes and any applicable legal requirements. Google states that Crashlytics retains crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before starting their removal from live and backup systems.
Connections to the listed online services use encrypted transport. Local files rely on Android's app-storage protections and your device security; exported files rely on the destination you select. We do not promise that every exported file is encrypted or that any system is completely secure.
Your choices and data requests
You can manage camera permission in Android settings, select which files to import, export your reports, and permanently delete reports from the app's Trash. Clearing Reportago's app data or uninstalling it removes app-managed local data but does not cancel a subscription or erase exported files and data already sent to service providers.
To request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information we process, or to object to processing, email lingburgtechnologies@gmail.com. Where applicable law provides these rights, you may also request a portable copy, withdraw a consent previously given, or complain to your local data-protection authority.
Please identify Reportago and describe your request. We may ask for the minimum information needed to verify it and locate relevant pseudonymous or purchase records. Some aggregated information cannot be linked back to an individual. We cannot remotely erase files held only on your device or copies held by recipients you selected.
We handle verified requests according to applicable law. Information needed for legal obligations, fraud prevention or resolving disputes may be retained with an explanation. Deleting purchase-related data does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription; manage cancellation separately in Google Play.
Children and changes to this Policy
Reportago is intended for adult work-documentation use and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has supplied personal information to us, contact us so we can address it.
We may update this Policy when the app, its services or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
